We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef (Thai Cuisine) to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the Thai cuisine section, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes, ensuring flavours and techniques remain true to traditional Thai culinary principles.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Contribute to menu planning, development of new Thai dishes, and refinement of existing recipes.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and assist in managing food costs and minimising wastage.
  • Support training, coaching, and skill development for junior team members.


Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant culinary experience, with strong expertise in authentic Thai cuisine hotel or highvolume restaurant experience is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about Thai food, with a deep understanding of Thai ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.
  • Demonstrates creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver highquality dishes in a fastpaced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support and grow with the team.
