Junior Sous Chef (Fine Dining)

We're looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at Willow, our Michelin-starred restaurant on Hong Kong Street. What You'll Do
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Assist in planning, developing, and executing seasonal menus and specials.
Oversee and train junior kitchen staff, fostering consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Ensure proper inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient storage.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance with all kitchen regulations.
Contribute to menu innovation, plating presentation, and culinary excellence.
Participate in tastings, workshops, and training sessions to develop skills and knowledge.
Support cost monitoring, portion control, and minimize waste under guidance from senior chefs.
Contribute to a collaborative, positive kitchen culture focused on learning and excellence.
Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, upscale-casual kitchen environment.
Progress toward senior sous chef or executive chef roles with mentorship from the Head Chef.
We're Looking for Someone Who
Is passionate about cooking and delivering exceptional dishes.
Enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively with the kitchen team.
Balances creativity with operational discipline.
Has 3-5 years of proven experience in a fine dining.
Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and structured culinary environment.
Has pre-opening or high-volume kitchen experience (preferred).
