Job Requirements
- Analyze and understand requirements and user stories to identify required test scenarios, test cases, and test data that will ensure complete test coverage
- Able to analyze applications based on the current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements do not exist
- Execute quality assurance test scenarios/test cases. Ensure that the developed functionality satisfies the requirements and aligns with business specifications
- Find issues through systematic and/or ad hoc testing, troubleshooting. Provide detailed defect reports and effectively communicate status of issues and its risk in a precise and timely manner
- Able to work together with software developers to enhance the product and fix all reported issues
- Understand problems from customer's perspective and able recommend improvements to enhance user experience
- Maintain product quality to avoid customer issues and enhance testing processes for better quality and efficiency.
- Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools
- Able to work independently on projects / Ability to self-manage
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) and QA methodology
- Knowledge and experience in analyzing Software Requirement Specification and identifying the required test scenarios
- Good team player, passion for learning new technology, approaches and test tools
- Meticulous attention to details and strong desire to deliver quality software experience
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
- 1 to 2 years experience in software testing will be an advantage.
- Experience work with auto test framework - selenium, Knowledge of scripting language - Python will be an advantage.
