Junior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Software Test Engineer to support software testing activities and help ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

. Execute test cases and document test results.

. Identify, report, and track software defects.

. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

. Verify fixes and retest reported issues.

. Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test documentation.

. Work closely with relevant stakeholders to understand system requirements and expected functionality.

. Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.

. Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.

Requirements

. 1-2 years of experience in software testing or a related field.

. Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an advantage.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

. Exposure to testing tools or bug tracking systems and agile development practices is a plus.
