About Us
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer who is eager to learn, contribute to product development, and grow within our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Development:
- Contribute to building and maintaining backend services using Node.js + TypeScript.
- Assist in developing frontend features using React + TypeScript.
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow established engineering guidelines.
- Help troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and general code-level prolems.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with senior engineers to understand task requirements and technical designs.
- Participate in team discussions about feature scope, improvements, and timelines.
- Provide regular updates on task progress and ask for support when needed.
Quality & Stability:
- Write basic unit and integration tests with guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in code reviews, seeking feedback and incorporating best practices.
- Learn and follow internal processes for logging, monitoring, and safe deployments.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of software engineering experience (internships or projects count).
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and an interest in Node.js and/or React.
- Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Willingness to learn AWS services, CI/CD workflows, and modern development tools.
- Strong desire to grow as an engineer and improve technical skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with personal or academic projects using Node.js, React, or TypeScript.
- Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Interest in crypto, blockchain, financial systems, or distributed technologies.
- Understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.) or observability tools.
