The Junior Site Engineer will support day-to-day site operations for construction and semiconductor facility projects. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, conducting on-site inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring that works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and schedule.
Semiconductor cleanroom and MEP experience will be considered a strong advantage.
Assist in supervising daily site works and ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, and specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of construction and MEP installation.
Monitor material deliveries, installation quality, and site progress.
Review and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings.
Prepare Daily Site Reports, progress photos, and inspection records.
Assist in preparing method statements, material submissions, and work schedules.
Support the RFI (Request for Inspection) and QA/QC process.
Assist with cleanroom work coordination (gowning, contamination control, zoning).
Support MEP works related to CDA, N2, DI Water, Exhaust, HVAC, and tool hook-up.
Participate in PTW (Permit-To-Work) workflow such as Hot Work, Work at Height, and Confined Space.
Assist in shutdown, fit-out, or equipment installation activities (if required).
Ensure all works comply with WSH regulations and site safety requirements.
Report unsafe practices and participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Follow LOTO and semiconductor fab safety rules where applicable.
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, or related fields.
Candidates with relevant site experience will also be considered.
Able to read and understand construction and MEP drawings.
Basic knowledge of measurement tools and site inspection procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office basic AutoCAD experience preferred.
English proficiency is required (written and spoken).
Experience working in semiconductor facilities (FAB / Cleanroom).
Familiarity with PTW procedures (Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space).
Knowledge of MEP systems such as ducting, piping, cable tray, or process utilities.
Experience in tool hook-up or shutdown activities is a strong plus.
Strong communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and consultants.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Site-based role may require overtime or weekend work depending on project schedule.
