Engineer / Senior Engineer - ICOMMS (Network Delivery)

About the Role

We are looking for Engineers / Senior Engineers to design, implement, test, and support network and data communication systems for Rail & Metro transportation projects, locally and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, implement, and commission network and data communication systems.
Support Proof of Concept (POC), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), system integration, and System Acceptance Test (SAT) activities.
Configure and deploy WAN/LAN network equipment, including routers and switches.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot system and connectivity issues.
Perform network testing, commissioning, and site implementation.
Maintain network documentation, technical reports, and system configurations.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
Support network availability, security, and access control requirements.

Requirements

Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
1-5 years of experience in network engineering, implementation, or support.
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP-MPLS, OSPF, or related networking technologies.
Hands-on experience with network equipment such as Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, or Extreme is an advantage.
Experience in network design, implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting is preferred.
CCNA, CCNP, HCIA, HCIP, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to support local and overseas project deployments when required.
