We are looking for a Network Services Engineer to support and deliver solutions within large-scale cloud and data centre environments. This role involves working on complex network infrastructure, supporting cloud-based services, and ensuring high availability and performance across mission-critical systems.
For more experienced candidates, there are opportunities to take on senior or lead responsibilities, including team leadership and project ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support deployment and operations within cloud and data centre environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across large-scale network infrastructure
- Manage and support Software Defined Networking (SDN) and cloud networking services
- Work with technologies such as Azure VNet, ExpressRoute, DNS, DDoS protection, Traffic Manager, and Load Balancers
- Participate in on-call support for critical systems
- (For Lead role) Guide team members and drive technical delivery
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience for Engineer, 5 years for Senior/Lead roles
- Experience in large-scale data centre or cloud environments
- Strong foundation in networking concepts and infrastructure
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Technical Skills
- Scripting/Programming: Python, Java, Perl, Kusto
- Operating Systems: Linux
- Networking: SDN, VNet, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer
- Data Formats: JSON, XML
- Certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP are advantageous
- Exposure to network automation and security is a plus
