Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
- Perform asset management and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct daily infrastructure health and security monitoring.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues.
- Manage change control and ensure all changes are properly documented and traceable.
- Respond to service requests and incidents with timely and effective resolutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to meet SLAs.
- Automate operational tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Support IT infrastructure projects and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Engineer: 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Senior Engineer: 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using log analysis and systematic root-cause tracing.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage:
- Red Hat, Windows OS, Cisco, Dell EMC, Pure Storage, VMware
