Job Responsibilities:
1. Field Service & Workshop Operations
- Perform service, repair, and maintenance tasks both onsite and in the workshop, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver after-sales service to ensure optimal equipment performance post-delivery.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty equipment.
- Provide expert-level support to the service team for complex fault analysis and breakdown resolution.
3. Customer Engagement & Site Visits
- Conduct regular customer visits to assess service needs, build relationships, and provide technical assistance.
- Organize and execute equipment demonstrations based on customer requirements.
- Submit detailed visit reports to management after each customer interaction.
4. Sales of Service Contracts & Maintenance Packages
- Promote and sell service contracts, preventive maintenance packages, and repair services to new and existing clients.
- Coordinate with the General Manager to ensure service contracts are proposed within one month of equipment delivery.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Complete service reports for every job and obtain customer sign-off.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including spare parts usage and inventory updates.
6. Asset & Equipment Management
- Take full accountability for all company tools, service equipment, and vehicles assigned.
- Ensure proper usage, routine maintenance, and safe storage of all issued assets.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Strictly adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and housekeeping practices during service tasks.
8. Additional Responsibilities
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management to support overall service operations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience servicing heavy-duty machinery, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills:
Proficient in interpreting electrical diagrams and hydraulic schematics.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in industrial equipment.
Demonstrated diagnostic and analytical problem-solving abilities. - Work Style: Capable of working independently or as part of a field service team in diverse and dynamic environments.
