Junior Sales Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

  • S$3,000 to $4,150 Basic
  • Monthly Incentives + AWS + Variable Bonus

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM

This Sales Engineer position is a premier entry point into consultative, solution-based technical sales - combining engineering knowledge, customer interaction, and real-world problem solving.

What You'll Be Doing

Learn & Master the Products

  • Attend structured product and application training at HQ (paid)

  • Build deep technical knowledge through classes, seminars, and on-the-job coaching

Consultative Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Visit manufacturers 3 days per week to consult face-to-face with customers

  • Understand customer challenges and recommend the right technical solutions

  • Provide professional technical consultation across multiple industries

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and application needs

Grow Accounts & Territory

  • Secure new customers consistently and efficiently

  • Manage and grow assigned sales territory

  • Contribute to account strategies and territory planning

  • Execute new product launches and market expansion initiatives

  • Support off-site seminars, demos, and trade shows

Work Independently & Professionally

  • Manage daily activities with minimal supervision

  • Follow company sales processes, policies, and professional standards

Who We're Looking For

Education & Background

  • Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline

  • Sales experience in any industry is a plus, but not required

Skills & Mindset

  • Strong interest in technical products and manufacturing environments

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn

  • Comfortable engaging customers and solving real-world problems

Other Requirements

  • Willing to travel up to 60% of the time (including occasional overnight stays)

  • Comfortable visiting customer sites 3 days per week

  • Valid Class 3 driving license
