JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist in tender estimation and costing.
• Assist in evaluating tender submissions.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Helps prepare interim payment claims and payment certificates.
• Maintains project records, contracts, and commercial documentation
• Undertaking duties/assignments as and when appropriately assigned by the HOD/Superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Tender and Estimating Works.
• Able to read and understand Drawings well.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating construction projects.
• Knowledge of Structural Steel works will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contracts and Sub-contracts.
• High proficiency with Microsoft office software in Excel and Word.
• With good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can work under pressure.

Working Hours:

• 5.5-day work week, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:25pm, Sat (Alternate Saturday Off) 8am-1200noon.
