Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documents, cost estimates, and procurement schedules.
• Support the sourcing and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractor packages as per project requirements.
• Monitor project budgets and costs under guidance, and help identify cost variations.
• Support contract administration tasks, including progress claims and payment certifications.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of contracts, quotations, and procurement records.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Ensure work is carried out in compliance with company policies and relevant industry standards.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of procurement-related role or construction background is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF software for quantity take-off and measurements.
• Strong understanding of costing and contract documentation and administration processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
