Job Description

Objectives Of This Role

Preparation of subcontractors payment certificate, bills of quantities.
Sourcing potential subcontractors to get quotations.
Negotiating with subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms and preparation of cost comparison.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs.

Responsibilities

Understanding the client requirements and quantities take off as per marking and RCP drawings.
Preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) by studying specification sheets from the sales team.
Identifying gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for a logical closure.
Manage the valuation of subcon work done, handle claims and issue payment response to subcon monthly on time.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management or a related field.
Experience working with AutoCAD, Microsoft and validating quantities from the given drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

Experience working on various construction projects.
Experience with building information modelling (BIM) and quantity take-off software.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
