Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Able to take off quantities efficiently
• Able to liaise and negotiate with suppliers & contractors related to projects
• To prepare quotation for projects
• To keep track of Variation Orders
• Attend site meetings
• Able to evaluate tender submission
• Awarding of contracts
• Keep track of final account and variation orders
• Prepare contract administration for client, consultants, sub- contractor
• Able to assist contract quantity take offs, estimation, cost planning and forecast budgeting.
• Preparation of Monthly Progress Claim to Client and Sub-Contractors
• Preparation for Payment Response to sub- contractor and suppliers
• Carry out other Contracts administration activities.
• Sourcing of materials and obtaining quotations for evaluation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying/ Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer .
• Proficient in cost estimation and budgeting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and project documentation.
