Job Summary

Support quantity surveying functions by performing accurate quantity take-offs, analyzing tender documents, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining industry knowledge to contribute to successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise and timely quantity take-offs to support project cost estimation
• Analyze tender and contract drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and request clarifications for unclear information
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and compare quotations for project scopes
• Assist in evaluating quotations and scope details to support decision-making
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standard details and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Conduct site visits as required to verify project details and support surveying activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or higher
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in quantity surveying
