Job Summary
Support project cost control and contract administration by assisting in quantity take-offs, preparing claims and quotations, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation for Civil & RC construction works.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for Civil and Reinforced Concrete (RC) works to support project budgeting
- Prepare detailed quotations, progress claims, variation order claims, and subcontractor payment documentation to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and material usage to identify variances and support cost control measures
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and managing contract administration to facilitate project procurement and compliance
- Liaise effectively with site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and main contractors to coordinate project activities and resolve issues
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports to ensure accurate record-keeping and communication
- Attend site meetings and provide project coordination support to facilitate smooth project execution
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Civil and Reinforced Concrete construction works to understand project scope and technical requirements
- Knowledge of AutoCAD to assist in interpreting construction drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders
- Demonstrated responsibility, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently to manage assigned tasks
