Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchaser to support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of goods and services. The role involves assisting with vendor management, order processing, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for goods and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Support vendor evaluation and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, warehouse) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Business Center).
- Familiarity with vendor management and negotiation processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
