Junior Manual QA Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Manual QA Tester to support the quality assurance activities for web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure software quality through structured manual testing and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

. Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications

. Perform functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing (SIT)

. Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities

. Log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools

. Validate bug fixes and ensure no regression impact

. Support release cycles, including pre-production verification

. Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

. Assist in initiatives related to test automation expansion

Job Requirements

. Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical / business fields

. Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies

. Familiarity with web and mobile application testing

. Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

. Good communication and team work skills

Preferred / Additional Requirements

. Experience testing mobile applications

. Exposure to test automation tools (advantageous but not mandatory)

. Experience supporting SIT or UAT activities
