Junior Logistics Executive

Job Scope

• Plan daily logistics to ensure timely customer deliveries.
• Prepare sea freight documentation(e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Customs Declaration).
• Facilitate new customer and vendor onboarding.
• Build strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Manage the sales pipeline and guide clients through each cycle stage.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries with accurate information.
• Track shipments and provide proactive client updates.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and schedule trucking operations for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
• Maintain organized administrative and shipping records.
• Troubleshoot operational issues (e.g.,delays, transport problems).
• Audit completed jobs to verify billing accuracy for finance.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or HOD.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
• Knowledge of sea freight documentation and Singapore customs procedures is an advantage.
• Computer literate, good in documentation skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
