Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Junior Laboratory Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. This role primarily focuses on
preparing product samples for customers and maintaining laboratory organisation and cleanliness. Training will be provided for basic lab equipment and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack product samples for customers.
- Assist with basic laboratory preparation work and prototype handling.
- Support simple testing activities under guidance from the technical team.
- Ensure proper lab housekeeping, including organising materials, equipment, and workspaces.
- Assist in lab inventory checks and restocking of materials when required.
- Follow laboratory SOPs and safety guidelines at all times.
- Perform other basic administrative or lab support tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to read and write English and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Responsible, organised, and willing to learn.
- Training will be provided prior laboratory experience is not required, but candidates with ITE /Diploma or background in Food Science / Laboratory work will be an advantage.
