Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor key IT infrastructure systems in a control room environment, ensuring uptime and performance.
• Conduct regular health checks on systems and networks to identify and prevent potential issues.
• Respond promptly to alerts and system anomalies, performing first-level troubleshooting.
• Support incident management activities including logging, escalation, and resolution tracking.
• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining hardware such as PCs, printers, and network devices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper documentation of all IT assets.
• Follow established SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience: No prior experience required – suitable for fresh graduates or career switchers with interest in IT support.
• Willingness to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and reliability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, operationally sensitive environment.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
