This role is hands-on and physically demanding, involving long hours on your feet, repetitive tasks, and working under pressure during peak periods. It is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with manual work and can maintain consistent performance throughout the day.
Position Available:
Full-Time Florist Assistant (Training Provided)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparation of flowers (cutting, cleaning, conditioning)
- Packing and wrapping of bouquets (simple to advanced)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workspace
- Assisting with customer orders and daily shop operations
- Supporting team during peak periods to ensure timely service
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced retail setting
- Requires standing for extended hours
- Repetitive, hands-on work
- Busy periods during weekends and festive seasons
Work Hours:
- 5-day work week (including weekends)
- Shift hours:10:00 AM - 7:00 PM1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Comfortable with repetitive and manual tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with good attendance
