Junior Finance Business Partner
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting operations, including transaction processing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support.
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and P&L tracking, including budget execution and variance analysis.
- Review contracts, invoices, and payment requests to ensure compliance with company policies and tax requirements.
- Support accounting tasks such as reconciliation, invoicing, settlement, and payment tracking.
- Conduct financial analysis on business and operational models, identify issues, and provide basic financial insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs and improve financial processes and efficiency.
- Assist in audit preparation, liaise with external auditors or tax agents when required.
- Participate in process improvement, system support, and other ad hoc finance or business projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance-related roles.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and basic financial analysis.
- Proficient in Excel; experience or strong interest in learning accounting/finance systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical thinking.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with different teams.
- Experience in tech / internet / startup environments is a plus.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is highly preferred to effectively collaborate with external partners and regional stakeholders.
