Junior Facilities Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Facilities Technician to join our growing Facilities & Operations team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, learning technical skills, and supporting day-to-day building operations. You will assist senior technicians and supervisors in maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and delivering smooth facility operations for our clients/sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work

• Support senior technicians in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building services

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment servicing

• Respond to service requests, breakdowns, and site issues promptly

• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines

• Update checklists, maintenance logs, and service reports

• Support inventory checks, tools management, and material handling

• Collaborate with contractors and vendors when required

• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in work areas
  
  Requirements

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Technology or related field

  • Fresh graduates welcome (training provided)

  • Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical preferred)

  • Willing to learn and support a variety of maintenance tasks

  • Hands-on, physically fit, and able to work in different site environments

  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work shifts or weekends if required (OT claimable)
