Junior Creative Designer / Junior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize design, space planning, handle projects independently from inception through completion, manage project profitability with project manager

• Develop creative and strategic design solutions to fulfil and satisfy client's requirements for their commercial workspace.

• Prepare design proposals consisting of 2D layout plans, 3D representations and imagery, references, details, material specifications, sketches, illustrations and other relevant materials for presentation to clients.

• Verbally present the proposal to clients in an engaging and professional manner.

• Preparation of revised designs and specifications to meet client's budget requirements and other parameters.

• Prepare presentation packages, CAD layouts, elevations and detailed drawings with material specifications and other design documentation to ensure an efficient and timely delivery of the physical designed space to the client within the stipulated timeline.

• Perform necessary drafting work for projects.

• Assist relevant parties in managing all aspects of design development & site implementation.

• Coordinate with quantity surveyors to translate design into tangible costing for submission to client.

• Ensure all design changes and solutions are well implemented and coordinated into the project design documentation

• Monitor design intent progression on site and manage project schedule and deliverables.

• Meets with vendors, suppliers and contractors on product, supply and technical matters.

• Review interior needs with the QS and vendors to determine who can provide the best service.

• Performs related work as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Architecture or equivalent.

• Proficiency in AutoCad, MS Office - Powerpoint, 3D Studio Max, Sketchup, Adobe PhotoShop.

• At least 1 years of working experience in commercial design - corporate office.

• Strong conceptual design and space planning skills

• Ability to work as part of a team or independently work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines. Able to work with remote teams.

• Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
