Responsibilities
- Assist with regulatory engagements, including managing filings, inspections, and supervisory communications.
- Conduct compliance monitoring programs such as employee compliance and control testing, along with thematic reviews.
- Enhance the compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Manage the AML/CFT framework, involving KYC processes, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring across fund structures.
- Collaborate with senior team members to provide risk-based and commercially aligned compliance advice.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors on governance matters.
- Assess regulatory changes and implement new requirements.
- Promote a culture of compliance through training initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 4-6 years of relevant compliance experience within financial services.
- Experienced in asset management or alternative investments is advantageous.
- Positive attitude with a hands-on mindset.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to translate requirements into practical business solutions.
- Knowledge of MAS regulations and the Singapore regulatory environment is advantageous.
- Understanding of investment products, fund structures, and cross-border regulations is beneficial.
