Role Description

You'll be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of institutional wealth management clients. Your job is to make sure they're getting value from Canopy responding to their questions, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You'll learn how family offices and asset managers operate, how data flows between banks and platforms, and how institutional wealth management works from the inside.

What You'll Own

  • Client Communication

You're the first point of contact. Clients reach out with questions about their data, reports, and platform you either resolve it directly or route it to the right team and follow through until it's done.

  • Issue Coordination

When something breaks a datafeed goes down, a reconciliation doesn't match, a report looks wrong you triage it, raise it with the data or product team, and keep the client informed until resolution. You own the communication, not the technical fix.

  • Operations Support

Maintain client records, track renewal dates, update the issue tracker, and keep internal documentation current. You'll also assist with billing queries, contract administration, and ad-hoc reporting requests.

  • Client Onboarding Support

Work alongside senior team members during new client onboarding coordinate datafeed setup, run basic platform training, and ensure clients are comfortable navigating the product.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a client-facing role client success, account management, operations, or client support
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Detail-oriented and organised you track tasks, follow up consistently, and don't let things slip
  • Comfortable learning technical concepts you'll need to understand datafeeds, portfolio structures, and reconciliation at a working level (we'll teach you)
  • Proficient with AI modern productivity tools Claude, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in financial services, private banking, or wealth management
  • Conversational Mandarin
  • Experience with ticketing or issue tracking systems
  • Interest in fintech or data platforms
