Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in the development, testing, and modification of PLC, HMI, and SCADA software.
- Support system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning activities at the factory and site.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, including SOPs, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, test records, and software backup/configuration files.
- Ensure assigned work is carried out in compliance with project requirements, industry standards, workplace safety regulations, and cybersecurity policies.
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to support project execution and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience or internship exposure in PLC, HMI, or SCADA systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, or SCADA programming and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, I/O signals, and control panels is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, work on-site, and support testing and commissioning activities.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Exposure to Siemens PLC / HMI / SCADA systems is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, BACnet, or OPC is preferred.
- Basic troubleshooting skills in control systems, field devices, and networked automation systems.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical documentation.

- Ability to work under guidance and follow project schedules and site requirements.
Language:
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- The ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage.
Work Environment:
- Work will be carried out in both office and industrial plant/site environments.
- Travel within Singapore may be required for installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- This role is based in Singapore.
