Junior Associate, HR and Admin

Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and adaptable Junior HR Generalist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on exposure across the full HR spectrum-from hiring and onboarding to culture-building and operations. Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job ads, sourcing candidates (e.g., via LinkedIn), screening, and coordinating interviews as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with payroll coordination and statutory submissions (e.g., CPF contributions, IRAS reporting)
- Act as a first point of contact for ad-hoc HR queries.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, team events, and culture-building activities.
- Help implement and improve HR policies and processes as the company scales.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations (e.g., guidelines from MoM)
- Assist in learning & development initiatives and performance review cycles.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations (supplies, pantry, equipment, vendor coordination)
- Liaise with external vendors (cleaning, IT support, office maintenance, etc.)
- Support travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and calendar coordination
- Handle general office administration such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence
- Assist with procurement and expense tracking
- Ensure the office environment is organized, safe, and conducive to productivity
- Support company events, workshops, and internal activities logistics
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant HR experience
- Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Nice to Have
- Experience with HRIS or ATS tools (e.g., HReasily, Info-tech, BambooHR)
- Interest with startup culture or prior experience in a startup
