Junior Associate, HR and Admin

Location: Central

Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and adaptable Junior HR Generalist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on exposure across the full HR spectrum-from hiring and onboarding to culture-building and operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who thrives in an evolving environment and enjoys building processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job ads, sourcing candidates (e.g., via LinkedIn), screening, and coordinating interviews as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll coordination and statutory submissions (e.g., CPF contributions, IRAS reporting)
  • Act as a first point of contact for ad-hoc HR queries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, team events, and culture-building activities.
  • Help implement and improve HR policies and processes as the company scales.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations (e.g., guidelines from MoM)
  • Assist in learning & development initiatives and performance review cycles.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations (supplies, pantry, equipment, vendor coordination)
  • Liaise with external vendors (cleaning, IT support, office maintenance, etc.)
  • Support travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and calendar coordination
  • Handle general office administration such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence
  • Assist with procurement and expense tracking
  • Ensure the office environment is organized, safe, and conducive to productivity
  • Support company events, workshops, and internal activities logistics

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant HR experience
  • Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HRIS or ATS tools (e.g., HReasily, Info-tech, BambooHR)
  • Interest with startup culture or prior experience in a startup
