As the business scales, operational rigor across HR—especially payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and governance—becomes mission-critical. Singapore serves as a key regional hub, and this role will anchor HR operations excellence across both Singapore and Thailand.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused HR Operations Specialist to lead end-to-end HR operations across Singapore and Thailand.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-accountability environments—owning payroll, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes with precision—while continuously improving systems and workflows. You will act as the subject matter expert for HR operations across both markets, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage the full employee lifecycle across Singapore and Thailand: onboarding, contracts, confirmations, transfers, and exits
- Ensure high data integrity within HRIS systems with audit-ready records at all times
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of HR processes across both markets
- Ensure timely and compliant documentation aligned with local regulations
2. Compliance & Statutory Governance (Core Focus)
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws and statutory frameworks in Singapore and Thailand
- Independently manage government portals (e.g., MOM, CPF, IRAS for Singapore and relevant Thai authorities)
- Track regulatory changes and proactively implement updates across policies and processes
- Maintain audit readiness and strong documentation practices
3. Work Pass & Immigration Management
- Manage end-to-end work pass processes (EP, S Pass, Dependant's Pass for Singapore; relevant visa/work permits for Thailand)
- Handle applications, renewals, cancellations, and compliance checks
- Act as the primary liaison with government authorities to ensure adherence to all regulations
4. Payroll & Benefits (Execution Ownership)
- Own and execute end-to-end payroll across Singapore and Thailand with high accuracy and timeliness
- Manage statutory submissions, tax filings, social security contributions, and reconciliations
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and ensure SLA adherence
- Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance across both markets
5. Stakeholder Management & Coordination
- Partner closely with business leaders, finance, and regional HR teams
- Manage external vendors and ensure high-quality delivery
- Support audits, reporting, and internal governance requirements
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in HR Operations with exposure to multi-country environments (Singapore + Thailand preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll, compliance, and statutory requirements in Singapore; familiarity with Thailand is a plus
- High attention to detail with a zero-error mindset, especially in payroll and compliance
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong ownership, structured thinking, and process orientation
