The role
We are seeking a Junior Architectural Designer to join our studio and grow into independent design and documentation work. You will support the Principal Architect, Project Architect and Intermediate designers across high-end residential, hospitality, cinema, restaurant and bar, yacht and bespoke projects, from concept studies through construction-ready drawings.
This is a role for a recent graduate or early-career designer who wants broad exposure, close mentoring from the Principals and real responsibility early.
About WeCraft Group
WeCraft Group is an interdisciplinary design house working across architecture, interior architecture, product and furniture design, and project management. We are headquartered in Singapore, with projects in Thailand and Japan.
Our work spans high-end residential, cinema and entertainment, restaurant and bar, hospitality and, distinctively, yacht interiors. We integrate creative vision with fabrication and construction delivery, working with craftspeople, fabricators and builders in Singapore and the region.
What you will do
- Develop design options, massing studies, plans, sections and elevations under the direction of senior designers.
- Produce and coordinate drawings and models in Revit and AutoCAD for DD and CD sets, and prepare presentation material.
- Build 3D models and visualisations (SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape or V-Ray) for client presentations.
- Research precedents, materials and products, and help prepare finish and specification schedules.
- Help prepare authority submission drawings (BCA, URA, SCDF) with the Project Architect.
- Attend client, consultant and site meetings take notes and follow up on actions.
- Coordinate drawing packages with WeCraft's outsourced documentation partners.
What you bring
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (BSc or BA Architecture welcome).
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience, including internships.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite an advantage.
- A strong design portfolio, a good eye for detail and a willingness to learn construction documentation.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- This role does not offer work-pass sponsorship applicants must already be authorised to work in Singapore.
What success looks like in the first 6 to 12 months
- Produces clean, coordinated drawing sets with decreasing senior rework.
- Takes ownership of a defined package on a live project.
- Becomes a reliable member of the design and documentation team.
Compensation
SGD 3,300 - 5,000 per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio, plus a discretionary performance bonus.
