The Role
You will research and experiment with what drives visibility in AI-powered search engines such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini. This is a hands-on research and engineering role - you will design experiments, build models, and see your work directly impact the product.
What you will do:
- Design and run experiments to identify and validate GEO ranking factors
- Develop and iterate on algorithms and scoring models
- Analyze large-scale data to extract actionable insights
- Work closely with the founding team to translate research into product features
What We're Looking For
Must-have
- PhD (fresh graduate) or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong foundation in machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval
- Solid experimental mindset - able to design tests, analyze results, and draw conclusions
- Curious, fast learner, comfortable exploring territory without a map
Nice to have
- Familiarity with how LLMs process and retrieve information
- Experience with search, ranking, or recommendation systems
- Any prior exposure to SEO or content analytics
No prior GEO experience needed - we will learn together.
