We are seeking a passionate and driven journalist to join our Chinese News division. In this role, you will work closely with the team to uphold high standards of content quality and journalistic excellence across digital, television, and radio platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to produce impactful stories and engage audiences in meaningful ways.
Responsibilities
- Source and develop compelling story ideas and leads
- Pitch, research, and deliver original and enterprise stories across assigned platforms
- Cover daily events and reporting assignments
- Film, script, and edit short-form video content
- Leverage social media platforms for news gathering and audience engagement
- Develop subject-matter expertise in key coverage areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong news sense with good knowledge of local news and current affairs
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Chinese
- Dynamic, resourceful, and a collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by newsroom operations
