Job Description: Process Mapping Consultant

Role Overview
The Process Mapping Consultant will be responsible for designing and documenting end-to-end business process maps across key insurance functions. The role requires deep domain expertise in Life & Health insurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end process maps across critical insurance functions such as Agency, Finance, Operations, and Risk, clearly outlining process flows, system interactions, data handoffs, key risk points, and recommended mitigation controls.
- Document core system data flows into the Data Warehouse (DWH) and articulate how downstream outputs (reports, payments, and journal entries) are generated, with a strong focus on agent compensation and incentive processes.
- Partner with business and technology teams to analyze existing processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements aligned with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
- Ensure process documentation adheres to enterprise standards and supports auditability, risk management, and change impact analysis.
- Operate effectively within an agile delivery model, contributing to iterative solution design and supporting delivery outcomes with a strong execution mindset.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience (preferable prior consulting background) in the Life & Health insurance domain, with strong hands-on knowledge of Agency, Finance, and Operations processes.
- Proven expertise in process mapping and documentation, including the use of industry standard process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
- Strong understanding of insurance data flows, particularly how transactional systems integrate with Data Warehouses to support reporting, payments, and accounting.
- Prior experience with insurance platforms such as LifeAsia and enterprise Data Warehouse solutions is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes and communicate them clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset with a track record of delivering high quality outcomes in fast paced, cross functional environments.
