POSITION

Junior Technical Consultant (1+yrs experience as technical developer)

REPORTS TO:

The Junior Technical Consultant will report to Solution Architect/ Program Delivery Manager.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to start their career in IT or who has already had 2-3years experience in a development role and who is passionate about learning/ evolving from experienced IT professionals in a corporate environment.

The Junior IT Support Consultant will act as the initial point of contact for all technical queries and assistance requests.

RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES

  • Assist with analysing client business requirements and translating their needs into technical requirements
  • Engage in critical problem solving.
  • Participate in project planning with the Program Delivery Manager.
  • Implement tasks in accordance with the schedule.
  • Continuously improve skills, adopt emerging technologies, and apply best practices .
  • Assistance in executing test strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and perform other duties as requested.
  • Contribute to creating a positive client support experience, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress and handling clients with a consummately professional attitude
  • Working knowledge of API's, or having done integration through connectors and SFTP etc will be an advantage

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Some skills in programming with .Net or SQL Server
  • Technical guidance and support
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Proficient listening, speaking, and responding skills
  • Hard working, committed and sincere, with high ethical standards and integrity
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Focused on delivering quality output to customer
  • Capability to engage with the customer and derive confidence
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Positive attitude and a team player

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary Qualification(s) in relevant field and industry experience,
  • Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
