Job Summary
Lead jet fuel supply and trading activities to maximize profit and enterprise value. Execute derivatives trading and hedging strategies, collaborate globally to drive arbitrage opportunities, and support trading projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical jet fuel trading and derivatives trading within delegated authorities to maximize profit and loss
- Execute derivatives trading and hedging strategies to manage price exposure and optimize jet fuel trading book performance
- Formulate and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies across physical and derivatives jet fuel markets
- Collaborate with global jet fuel trading teams to align regional activities with subsidiaries in the US and Europe
- Drive cross-regional arbitrage opportunities by analyzing market fundamentals and regional flows
- Support trading-related projects and undertake business travel as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of physical and derivatives jet fuel trading experience with strong understanding of market fundamentals, arbitrage flows, risk management, and operations/logistics
- Ability to work independently with a hands-on, execution-driven mindset under minimal supervision
- Adaptability to fast-paced, challenging environments and changing conditions
- Strong ethics, professionalism, responsibility, and team collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and maintain performance under stress
- Effective bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate frequently with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders
