Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery of Corporate Banking systems and applications.
- Work closely with business users, product owners, and project managers to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect, design, and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE frameworks and microservices on OpenShift container platform.
- Manage code quality, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure for CI/CD, deployment, and production support.
- Oversee technical documentation, system design, and configuration management.
- Mentor developers and ensure continuous technical improvement within the team.
- Support integration with banking systems such as Payments, Liquidity, Trade, and Treasury modules.
- Communicate effectively with both English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders, including regional teams and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 810 years of experience in enterprise application development and system integration.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or solution lead role within Corporate/Wholesale Banking domain.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on OpenShift.
- Prior exposure to Corporate Banking products and workflows such as Payments, Accounts, Liquidity, or Cash Management preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to work with regional stakeholders and vendors.
Required Skills:
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Java / J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.
- Platform: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift (containerization, deployment, scaling, and monitoring).
- Database: Proficiency in MySQL (schema design, query optimization, stored procedures).
- DevOps Tools: CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.
- Cloud / Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (added advantage).
- System Integration: SOAP/REST APIs, MQ, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Security: Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, SSL, and application security standards.
- Performance Tuning: Experience in optimizing backend systems for scalability and low latency.
