We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust online systems, batch processing applications, and web portals that power critical business operations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, scalable software solutions, adhering to best practices in secure coding, test automation, and open-source vulnerability management. You will work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java Spring Framework, including RESTful APIs, batch jobs, and web-based interfaces.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple systems and modules.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and manage open-source dependency vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing detailed root cause analysis.
• Identify, communicate, and escalate risks or impediments proactively to maintain project timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java Spring development for online processing, batch, and web portal systems.
• Proven experience in message exchange technologies (e.g., JSON, Solace message bus).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and test-driven development (TDD).

Skills and Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of open-source libraries and vulnerability management practices.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as JUnit and familiarity with self-developed test tools is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Octopus, and Bitbucket.
• Experience integrating with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is advantageous.
