Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and support high-quality, latency-sensitive front-office trading applications. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, close collaboration with business users, and the ability to drive delivery across a global development team.

Key Responsibilities

● Oversee projects, drive deliveries, and remain hands-on in designing and implementing high-quality technical solutions for latency-sensitive trading algorithms.

● Design, develop, and support front-office trading applications in close collaboration with business users.

● Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable and innovative technical solutions.

● Apply software engineering practices to ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.

● Work closely with global development teams to further develop and enhance quoting applications.

● Build observability into applications and monitor production health.

● Support incident resolution and drive root-cause remediation for identified risks and issues.

● Share technical knowledge and expertise across the team.

● Lead or mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering practices and internal technical communities.

Required Expertise

● Experience working in a front-office environment with the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.

● Ideally 8+ years of experience in a similar role or domain.

● Strong understanding of the relevant business domain and experience with real-time trading platforms.

● Advanced Java development expertise.

● Strong interest and ability to learn new technologies, tools, and engineering practices.

● Excellent communication and internal client relationship management skills.

● Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

● Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

● Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and new challenges.

● Strong team player with experience leading or mentoring junior colleagues.
