Java Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, API security, authentication and authorization, database integration, encryption/decryption, and batch processing.

The candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend services, implementing secure API integrations, optimizing database operations, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practice sand secure coding standards.
• Implement API security mechanisms, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Develop and manage secure API integrations between internal and external enterprise applications.
• Implement role-based authentication and authorization using technologies such as Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
• Develop complex database queries, optimize data access, and implement efficient persistence layers using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Implement encryption and decryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data during storage and transmission.
• Design, develop, and maintain batch processing applications for scheduled jobs, bulk data processing, and automated workflows.
• Apply appropriate integration patterns to ensure reliable communication between distributed systems and microservices.
• Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Practical experience with Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, or similar security frameworks.
• Strong experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and writing complex SQL/database queries.
• Good understanding of encryption and decryption techniques, including secure data handling.
• Experience developing and maintaining batch processing applications and scheduled jobs.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration patterns and distributed system architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment processes.
