Job Summary
Develop and maintain software applications by collaborating in design, testing, and deployment activities. Apply best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while supporting continuous process improvements in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications based on functional and technical requirements to meet business needs
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions to ensure successful delivery
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development frameworks and technologies for long-term usability
- Create and execute unit tests to validate software quality and reliability before release
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues to maintain optimal system functionality
- Collaborate with team members during Agile development activities such as sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and deployment activities under senior engineers guidance to streamline release processes
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to improve code quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and application performance to increase efficiency and user satisfaction
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot frameworks
- Familiarity with React.js or Vue.js front-end frameworks
- Understanding of Git or other source code management tools
- Basic knowledge of databases and RESTful APIs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn and grow
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration tools
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
