About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team in Singapore. You will design, build and support complex, custom-built Java applications, with exposure to Wealth Management systems. This is a role for an engineer who is passionate about technology, enjoys building robust and scalable systems, and is known for solving the problems others struggle with.

Requirements

Technical – Must Have

•        Core Java 8+ and JUnit

•        Spring Boot and Spring core concepts

•        Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design)

•        TDD, with the ability to write acceptance tests

•        Maven

•        Basic Linux shell scripting

•        Java messaging concepts (JMS, IBM MQ)

•        Relational database concepts and SQL (joins, indexes, triggers), including SQL query optimisation

•        Web services: REST and SOAP

•        Familiarity with IntelliJ, Git and SonarQube / SonarLint

Technical – Desirable

•        Ability to write and understand complex SQL queries

•        Kafka

•        React JS
