Java developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java technologies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Build scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Integrate modern applications with legacy systems such as COBOL and DB2.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern Java frameworks and IDEs.
• Work in Linux/Unix environments for application deployment and maintenance.
• Develop frontend components and backend services for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience in Full Stack Java development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience working with DB2 databases.
• Exposure to COBOL-based legacy systems or mainframe integrations.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency with Java IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or similar.
• Experience with SQL queries, database design, and performance tuning.
