Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions using modern Java technologies and cloud-native practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Modernize and migrate legacy applications to modern architectures.
- Build scalable microservices and event-driven solutions.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
- Develop and maintain BDD test automation using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and sprint deliveries.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Support CI/CD and GitOps deployment practices using GitLab and ArgoCD.
- Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Java development within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and modern JDK versions.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and design patterns.
- Experience with microservices, layered, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and object storage solutions.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Strong problem-solving skills, code review experience, and focus on software quality.
