Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver solutions using Java, Spring Boot, EJB, MySQL, Oracle, IBM MQ.
- Translate business/system requirements into scalable and stable technical solutions.
- Analyse and resolve complex legacy issues and production incidents.
- Ensure compliance with coding, performance, and security standards.
- Work in Agile teams (Scrum/XP) with practices like TDD and CI.
- Review architecture, challenge technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage timelines, and provide clear status updates.
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring highquality delivery.
Technical Skills
- Core Java 8+, JUnit, Spring Boot
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- TDD, writing acceptance tests
- Maven, Linux basics
- JMS / MQ
- SQL, relational database concepts, query optimization
- REST & SOAP web services
- Familiarity with IntelliJ, Git, SonarQube/SonarLint
- JBoss or other application servers
- JSF, JPA, EJB
- Kafka
- React.js
