Japanese-Speaking Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with new and existing marine and offshore customers.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Gather customer requirements and communicate market insights and feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Leverage product, service, and operational expertise to develop suitable customer solutions and support business growth.
• Prepare and oversee sales proposals and negotiate commercial contracts for management approval.
• Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
• Participate in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to identify opportunities and stay informed of market developments.

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of relevant sales experience with a good track record.
• Professional working proficiency in Japanese is required to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
• Established sales networks within the marine industry are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of maritime satellite communication services is an added advantage.
• Previous experience as a Radio Officer or relevant maritime operational experience is an added advantage.
• Established business relationships with ship managers and shipowners are an added advantage.
