◆Role Overview:

Our client is an international entertainment company specialising in trading card games and related products. This role supports the development and production of card game products, working closely with Japanese business counterparts throughout the product development process. The successful candidate will also contribute to Japanese-English translation, localisation and proofreading to ensure product quality and cultural accuracy. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of gaming, entertainment and international product development.

◆Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and oversee the development and production of card game products.
• Liaise with Japanese-speaking business counterparts regarding the development and production of card game products.
• Translate and localise product content from Japanese into English.
• Proofread localised text and product designs to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality.
• Coordinate multiple tasks and timelines to support the smooth delivery of development and production projects.
• Support business activities and events, including working on some weekends and public holidays when required.
• Travel overseas for business trips when required.

◆Requirements:

[Must Have]

• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in product development, project coordination, content, gaming, entertainment or a related field.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English for liaising with Japanese-speaking counterparts and supporting Japanese-English translation and localisation.
• Some knowledge or interest in games or anime.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
• Excellent schedule management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sensitivity to cultural and linguistic nuances.
• Willingness to work on some weekends and public holidays for company events when required.
• Willingness to travel overseas for business trips when required.

• Experience playing trading card games (TCGs).
• Experience in game, anime, entertainment or related industries.
• Experience with Japanese-English translation or localisation.
• Experience coordinating product development or production schedules.
