Job Description

Job Title: Japanese Culinary Specialist (Kitchen Chef)
Location: Central Singapore
Salary: Up to $3,400 per month (based on experience)
Work Schedule: 5 or 6-day work week (weekends & public holidays required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Signature Dishes: Execute recipes for ramen, donburi, and yakitori with consistent taste and texture.

  • Plate with Precision: Arrange each dish to meet visual and portion standards before it leaves the pass.

  • Support Service Flow: Communicate clearly during rush hours restock stations and guide junior team members as needed.

  • Maintain Hygiene: Follow strict food safety protocols, clean as you go, and log temperature checks.

  • Collaborate on Menu Updates: Suggest seasonal adjustments or cost-effective improvements to existing dishes.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (Japanese cuisine is a strong plus but not mandatory).

  • Solid knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking methods (grill, fry, steam).
