Leads regional execution, budget ownership, launch excellence, and strong alignment between Global, Regional, and Country teams to maximize commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
Global Product Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive business growth, increase revenue, and strengthen market positioning, informed by competitive analysis, product positioning, and pricing strategy.
- Lead product marketing and sales enablement efforts across JAPAC by developing country-level marketing strategies aligned with local commercial channel objectives and customer needs.
- Ensure country plans are impactful, aligned with global strategy, and fully integrated into the Quarterly Business Planning process.
- Operate as a player-coach by taking ownership of key initiatives while effectively leveraging the capabilities and expertise of the JAPAC marketing team.
- Develops a strong regional marketing leadership bench by coaching JAPAC marketing team, embedding performance standards, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that only strategically aligned and operationally feasible product launches move forward.
- Adapt and deploy global content to deliver compelling customer value propositions, marketing materials, and digital campaigns, ensuring consistent branding across all channels.
- Serves as trusted partner for Regional / Global Commercial Leadership, translating commercial strategy into effective downstream marketing execution.
- Serve as a key liaison between Global Marketing, Regional Commercial Leadership, and Regional and Local Marketing teams.
- Partner closely with Marketing Communications (MarCom) to ensure adherence to corporate brand guidelines and compliance across all marketing activities.
Regional Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership to JAPAC Product Managers, ensuring clear prioritization, robust planning, and effective country-level execution to maximize revenue and market share.
- Lead the regional Launch Excellence planning process in close collaboration with Commercial, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Support regional commercial leadership in driving supply readiness, accurate financial forecasting, launch timelines, and broader product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with commercial teams and distributor partners to ensure marketing strategies are clearly understood and that teams are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and materials for successful execution.
- Plan and support regional conferences and events that align with and advance the overall commercial strategy.
- Work cross-functionally within the region to identify and resolve complex technical, functional, and business challenges, enabling teams to meet strategic objectives.
Market Insight, Performance Management & Optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and professional associations to inform product positioning and enhance credibility.
- Establish and manage product and campaign KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness and inform data-driven optimization.
- Owns marketing effectiveness outcomes, using data and insight to continuously optimize growth, investment, and execution quality.
- Partner with the Global Market Insights team to analyze market dynamics, regional specificities, and go-to-market strategies to support successful market entry and growth.
- Monitor competitive activity following product launches and proactively initiate response strategies to mitigate competitive threats.
- Ensure third-party support needs are regularly assessed and escalated to the Third-Party Governance team to ensure product continuity and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Service teams to enhance the customer service experience for assigned product lines while improving service profitability.
